Description

Job Purpose:
  • Identify and lead key country joint-initiatives to enhance the card's & retail's business opportunities
  • Develop and employ the tools of segmentation, targeting, risk versus rewards dimension and advanced statistical methodologies to find data based insights to deliver upon the opportunities and the financial goals
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage analytics, targeting, and segmentation on the Personal Loan, Ready Credit and Leads Management
  • Lead and drive strategy and make recommendations through the use of data analysis and segmentation methodologies leading to the implementation of recommendations and tracking executions
  • Strong understanding of the key Consumer Banking profitability drivers and measures of success
  • Own and manage the product P&L report through periodic and adhoc reviews and analysis
  • Deep understanding of customers by analysing customer and portfolio data and consistently communicate key findings to stakeholders
  • Examine the effectiveness of strategies / campaigns by analysing post campaigns performances, response rate and sales incremental, marketing expenses and revenue generated (R/E), to gather insights, formulate strategies and make recommendations for future campaigns
  • Lead development of statistical models for customer targeting, product response model and channel optimization
  • Identify opportunities for universe expansion and grow customer base
  • Examine Risk versus Rewards strategy to gather insights to optimize future acquisition and portfolio strategies
  • Work closely with other functional areas (business, S&D, marketing, credit policy and finance) to gain consensus on targeting, pricing, and financial P&L dynamics for future initiatives and targeted campaigns


Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-10 years working experience preferably in analytical roles, spanning business strategy, risk management, marketing analytics or finance
  • Graduates in the following disciplines are preferred: Engineering, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science or information systems
  • Strong technical and programming experience in SAS or SQL, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint skills
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and how it can be impacted by customer & market behaviours
  • Proficient in data and capable of completing in-depth analysis (deep-dive) to unearth actionable insights and make recommendations
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously and willingness to lead / work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently around tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cards & retail bank business managers, and risk managers in the assessment of business opportunities through data driven strategies
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation and thought leadership
