The Role Responsibilities
  • Support and enhance the experience of new businesses setting up in GBS to drive new hubbing opportunities to the bank.
  • Drive MT / Board Level Reporting on Hubbing and Right Shoring with the Business Efficiency & HR Analytics teams
  • Work closely with the Business efficiency team and provide the necessary support to drive the MT targets
  • Provide hubbing insights and drive opportunity identification for new hubbing activities within the bank across all COO groups in both the functions and operations.
  • Remove barriers for new migration setups.
  • Consult, advise and drive new business opportunities within GBS to ensure smooth landing of services to new hubbed location.
  • End to End ownership of migration projects. Work with sending and receiving side leaders to review the opportunity, assess decouplability, design solutions and manage the migration
  • Adherence to the migrations framework and methodology for seamless movement of work from sending to receiving side
  • Drive Right Shoring project governance meetings to monitor project progress. Ensure comprehensive documentation during project lifecycle - Training documents, legal documents, etc
  • Work closely with various functional teams i.e Talent Acquisition, training, Operations, Property, Finance, etc for project execution
  • Drive Monthly Business Reviews, Project Communications and ensure full alignment with the Journey Heads, COOs, Group Operations Heads and the Countries (where relevant).
  • Managing complex relationships between Journey Heads, COOs and the Countries for the assigned areas.
  • Manage a team of Project Managers across multiple different functions to deliver common goals and adhere to all standards set within the bank.
  • Interface with Regulators, Auditors and the relevant governance authorities on issues pertaining to Right Shoring initiatives that is managed the Right Shoring Head.
  • Deliver 5x right shoring benefits for every dollar spent executing migration projects.
Analytics
  • Drive MT / Board Level Reporting on Hubbing and Right Shoring with the Business Efficiency & HR Analytics teams
  • Provide hubbing insights and drive opportunity identification for new hubbing activities within the bank.
  • Manage and support in-country strategic planning and budgeting processes for segments and products, including business projections for hubbing.
  • Ensure consistency with group Corporate Planning processes
  • Drive discussions with COOs, Journey Heads, Countries and GBS Finance teams to provide insights, drive consistency and initiate the governance
  • Drive MT, GBS EXCO and reporting to Regulators pertaining to Right Shoring and hubbing through the various governance forums within the bank.
  • Continuously drive to new insights into the growth of hubbing with the bank.

  • Own all Right Shoring activities within an assigned function within GBS.
  • Set and implement the vision, strategy, direction and leadership along with the Group's strategic direction and aspirations.
  • Ensure that there is adequate support (people, processes, tools, frameworks, systems)

Project/Change Management
  • Measure outcomes on Change initiatives/ program post-implementation to evaluate benefits realisation.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice, guidance and support to the project managers on managing change.
  • Review new business requirements and provide solutions where required.
Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Seasoned leader with over 15 years of work experience across Shared Services functions with previous experience of leading PMO for large Transition / Migration initiatives
  • Candidate should have over 5 + years experience in leading Migrations / Transitions function within Banking and Financial Services organization for processes and functions
  • Excellent understanding of migration methodology, Six Sigma/Lean Tools and Contractual framework RFI, RFP, SOW, SLA, etc
  • Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills since the role requires PMO governance and change management with senior leaders across the organization
  • Focus on execution and ability to manage through ambiguity and drive performance and change
  • Should have excellent understanding of business metrics and performance management. Specific to forecasting and capacity planning, pay for performance, productivity, etc
  • Ability to think strategically and logically structure and process large amounts of data into meaningful and actionable recommendations
  • Strong analytics and ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive results
  • Prior consulting experience is a plus
  • Should have a good understanding of technology infrastructure and set up requirements i.e connectivity, bandwidth, BRD, production environment, etc
  • Strong understanding of Analytics and Other BI toolsets.
  • Strong Business Development sense and Good Stakeholder Communication skills.
