System Analyst
Company & department description

SWIFT has a very successful commercial business intelligence offering called Watch, with more than 160 customers worldwide. All these insights and more are also made available for internal use like consulting and other consumers.

With numerous initiatives in the pipeline to extend the scope of Watch and further exploit the gold mine of data, we are looking for a motivated System Analyst in the KL Business Intelligence team to help shape the solutions and platforms that enable these initiatives. Other than Watch, you will also be exposed to other BI modules that serve different Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Management reporting purposes.

Joining our team of highly skilled professionals will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a leading edge technology domain and at the same time extend SWIFT business knowledge.

  • Further analyze the business requirements and translate them into detailed system and application requirements taking the systems architecture, design and implementation roadmap into account. A thorough understanding of the implementation, tools and data will be key, as well as checking feasibility with the lead developers.

  • Clearly and unambiguously document the requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, data flows, boundary conditions, exceptions, test and acceptance criteria.

  • Convey the information to the rest of the team through presentations or document walkthroughs

  • Provide assistance during implementation and testing by clarifying requirements, and keeping the requirements documentation in line with the implemented solution.

  • Assist in explaining the implementation approach and timeline to the business

  • Work in a scrum team respecting timing and scheduling estimates, propose corrective actions when necessary.

  • Working in a scrum team means striving to maximum flexibility, ie. if there is a temporary peak demand on development or testing, we expect you to temporarily take on that role.
