Junior Analyst in Custody Tax Services
The Junior Analyst in Custody Tax Services  is a professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.
Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting close business relationships with internal and external partners and clients through full involvement in current tasks and business projects;
  • Providing high quality services to clients;
  • Raising tax refund applications on behalf on our clients
  • Reconciliation and resolution of differences between Citi and client's records
  • Issuing and monitoring billing / payment instructions to other trust banks;
  • Training and introduction of new employees;
  • Active and independent search for and implementation of new, better solutions within their own tasks;
  • Ensuring an effective Information Management System process within the area served, effective participation and communication in business teleconferences if necessary;
  • Proactive control activities and implementation of solutions aimed at limiting operational risk in processes;
  • Supporting employees in solving current operational problems and ensuring process continuity;
  • Regular monitoring and updating of operating procedures;
  • Immediately informing the superior about any real and potential problems that may affect the results and perception of the whole entity;
  • Supporting a positive and professional work environment;
  • Implementation of all compulsory training within a given time frame;
  • Performing other business tasks assigned by the superior;
  • Participation in business projects, introducing new clients, documenting new processes.
Knowledge / Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years experience within Financial Services
  • A good understanding of financial services area
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills;
