Risk Reporting Analyst
EMEA Corporate Risk Reporting and Analysis team within Risk Management Reporting and Analysis is responsible for producing and analyzing various time-sensitive regulatory and management reports focused mostly on credit risk area in EMEA region. The team is also working closely with Finance, Risk Management and Technology on consolidating required information and presenting it in the most informative way.  
The team is also involved in various projects related to economic and political events, new reporting requirements and potential automations. This job offers great opportunity to develop not only technical and reporting skills but also comprehensive risk knowledge and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and processes.
The main functions of the Risk Reporting Analyst are:
  • Preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
  • Coordinating with risk management, technology, finance to make sure that all deliverables are provided on time and information contained in various reports and presentations is accurate and makes sense
  • Understanding/interpreting the nuances of the questions and requests from senior managements and regulators and working with risk managers and portfolio analysts to come up with answers and solutions
  • Leading reviews with risk management and data analytics to identify and remediate potential data errors
  • Implementing controls and conducting periodic reviews to make sure that data is sourced and processed accurately
  • Being involved in various policy-driven and regulatory projects with risk reporting
  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably in Reporting, Regulatory or Risk areas
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with independent management of processes or projects would be a plus
  • Proven interest in risk management and macroeconomics
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of VBA and Access would be a plus
  • Experience with internal risk reporting systems (Optima, CitiRisk, Citi Insight) would be a plus
  • Ability to analyze data and present conclusions
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills in English
  • Good team player and excellent work ethics
  • Organizational & interpersonal skills
