The incumbent will primarily assist the Executive Manager International Business Support in ensuring the business and operational requirements of International branches are appropriately developed and delivered, and for monitoring and enhancing the control environment within International branches.
This role supports the Group's overall international expansion strategy and the on-going objective of improving operating efficiencies and ensuring robust controls. Role Description:
Assist in establishing Service Level Agreements (SLA's) with internal HO departments units, on behalf of International branches, to reflect process/service performance and achieve consistency and improvement in cycle time and defects.
Liaise with international branches and Head Office support units for resolution of any issues that arise during IT projects/system enhancements and rollouts
Maintain regular dialogue with International branches, to understand issues and challenges and ensure they are receiving the required levels of support from HO functions
Support project / initiatives across International branches during their execution.
Provide HO support and guidance to International branches, with a specific focus on branch wide operational issues and Control Environments requirements.
Review the observations in Audit reports and support the branch and senior management on the findings and required remediation activities.
Identify common repeat Audit findings and communicate issues and solutions across the International branch network.
Monitor the progress of the approved management action plans provided from internal/ external audit.
Track the delivery of remediation activities.
Prepare reports on the status of Audit points for Senior Management.
Produce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes pertaining to business operations & control environment dimensions within International branches
Support Quality Assurance/Control Environment activities to identify problematic areas, develop, and deliver appropriate remediation plans.
Identify and champion initiatives to enhance control environment, reduce cost and improve synergies.
Support the review of the Group's International forms and reports to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, user needs and adaptability to system changes.
Engage with relevant HO departments to ensure appropriate Policies & Procedures are in place across International branches, with reviews and updates taking place in a timely manner and ensuring maximum standardization.
Coordinate completion of all reports, returns and requests for information within specified time scales.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and regulations, external regulators and legal parameters. Coordinate completion of all reports, returns and requests for information within specified time scales.
Assist in identifying the various control checks to follow in international branches and coordinate response analysis and its follow up. Qualifications:
Bachelor degree preferably in suitable discipline of Business school.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a major bank in marketing - quality assurance function.
