This is a position within Global Markets Middle Office Operations team supporting the Rates, FX and Treasury desks. In terms of product coverage, the desk trades in vanilla OTC and listed Interest Rate Derivatives as well as more bespoke and hybrid structures.

Functional Overview  
 
 This is a position within Global Markets Middle Office Operations team supporting the Rates, FX and Treasury desks. In terms of product coverage, the desk trades in vanilla OTC and listed Interest Rate Derivatives as well as more bespoke and hybrid structures.

Job Description  
 
•Understanding of overall and specific risks within the process, controls available to mitigate such risks and open risks, in supporting the business. Ability to identify gaps / issues / outliers as they arise and escalate timely / seek help
•Ensure timely and accurate trade capture and deal maintenance for Asia-originated Derivative trades for FX / Rates products
•Ensure that the key middle office controls are performed daily such as trade activity, position/risk reconciliations, T+0 P&L flash
•Coordination with other Operations groups to ensure proper settlement and timely break resolution
•Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Front Office.
•Maintenance of Middle Office procedures and ensure cross-training within regional groups.
•Coordination with other Operations groups to ensure proper settlement and timely break resolution.
•Work with IT around implementing Middle Office initiatives, global/local system roll-outs and projects involving requirements gathering, migration and UAT
•Derivative experience preferred

Key Experience & Skills  
 
•4-5 years of relevant experience preferred. Working knowledge of fixed income derivatives is preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education required
•A self-motivated person with robust product exposure, good attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
•Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to quickly adapt to a continuously evolving system/work-flow environment
•Strong working knowledge of Excel and macros
