Our Client is a well-loved and fast growing retail brand with 6000+ employees across Asia. In order to support its growth plan to open in several additional key markets in Asia, the company is undergoing a digital transformation process and requires a Director of IT Operations to lead its Asia team.
Reporting directly to the Regional CIO, you will be a key member of the global technology team, responsible for building capacity and capabilities of the IT operational support team including infrastructure build and applications management. You will lead a team of 30-40 including user helpdesk function for 1000 IT users within corporate offices and the retail stores, and lead the team to ensure the operations are stable throughout the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates should have 10+ years' experience in IT Operations leadership role, shaping strategy, and executing new technology within an omni-retail or mnc consumer organisation. Strong awareness of new infrastructure solutions including cloud/hosting providers and industry innovation, knowledge of IAAS and PAAS Cloud environment solutions, and implementing best practices.
