The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum experience of 15 years in sales or trading within the Credit or Rates markets with experience of running and growing a strong successful team - preferably in a sales or trading role. Strong interpersonal skills are required, any local languages are beneficial although not a pre-requisite. Sales experience in FICC within a bank or major financial institution is preferred, relevant platform experience will be considered.
There is a strong emphasis on someone to be able drive sales and adoption in the region. There is a strong mindset for this hire to have strong relationships within the SG or SEA region. You will act as the face of this region whilst driving a team and sales strategy/revenues across the SEA region. The role will involve senior new business pitching, speaking at industry events and driving new initiatives within the marketplace. This is coupled with leading a sales team across the region, so experience in motivating, hiring, leading a high performing sales team is important.
Good understanding and experience in CDS / Credit Derivatives within a sales or trading capacity is necessary. Any exposure or experience within an electronic trading capacity would be interesting, you will have a strong appetite for driving deals and revenues.
