My client is a leading flavours and fragrances ingredients distributor with operations based out of Singapore. They are recruiting an Accountant to be part of our finance team here in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Handling monthly closing and responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions for companies under the parent group
Preparing and submission of GST returns
Assist in preparation of financial statements for statutory and tax reporting
Able to work independently, multitask, work under pressure, positive attitude and self-motivated
Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax advisors and corporate secretaries
Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

At least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Short notice or immediate availability would be an advantage
