Performance Test Engineer
Job Details:- Experience:-5 Yrs to 9 yrs
Work Location:- Singapore
Job Responsibility: - Collect & analyze performance testing/engineering requirements for online and batch applications, carry out workload analysis and develop performance test approach & plan
- Develop scripts and execute performance tests using MF LoadRunner / Performance Centre on Web, Web Service, Oracle NCA and RDP protocols. Leverage requisite scripting techniques/ functions/ settings.
- Execute various performance test types (load/stress/endurance)
- Monitor server/platform performance using tools like HP Sitescope and utilities like Windows Perfmon, Unix Nmon.
- Analyze performance test results, identity bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations
- Coordinate with multiple project stakeholders to ensure successful performance test delivery
- Convert web scripts to ajax truclient
- Application logs analysis with the help of team
Job Requirement s: - 5+ years of experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience performing load testing of Web applications
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting performance issues
- Java, and ideally Spring technical expertise
- Good understanding of performance testing strategies and load models
- Knowledge and experience of a load testing tool, preferably Jmeter or Gatling
- Knowledge and experience of profiling/monitoring tools (system, application server, application)
- Knowledge and experience of analyzing performance issues across all the tiers (client, network, application, database)
- Good expertise on SQL queries optimization
- Good understanding of caching mechanisms
- Knowledge and experience of a data generator tool to generate test data for load tests
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and the integration of performance testing within it
- Experience with integrating performance testing in the CI
- Knowledge of an Application Performance Monitoring tool (APM)
- Knowledge of ELK to define application performance dashboards
- Speaking at conferences and/or user groups
- Contributing to open source projects
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
