My Client is a Family Office based in Singapore. It is a fast growing company which started as a single family office but aimed to be one of the best global investment companies. We are looking for a Portfolio Manager covering Equities targets with experience in managing AUM and recommendations about buy or sell for TMT stocks. You are required to be conversant in Chinese to relay trade strategies and interact with key Chinese stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Grow and maintain a group of assigned relationships through a proactive, strategic and consistent business development, client retention, and prospecting relationship management effort
  • To identify investment opportunities, build financial models, estimate company intrinsic values and discuss due diligence research with the team
  • Drive the development of lasting, influential, consultative client relationships with key decision makers at all levels
  • Perform trade execution where required
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative portfolio revenue and Return on Equity targets
  • Prepare reports to make recommendations about buy or sell for specific stocks or fixed income issues
  • Manage time-sensitive deadlines, particularly on deals
  • To contribute to the team’s portfolio construction discussions and decision making.

Key requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • An energetic, self-directed, self-motivated personality with an independent and engaging forward-thinking mind
  • Familiarity with financial modelling, proven problem solving skill and a track record of fluent presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Experience on HK&/US equities
  • Expected to prepare robust reports and buy/sell recommendations base off these reports across both equities and fixed income assets classesHave experience in managing Assets under Management (AUM)
  • Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
  • High ethical and professional standards
  • Team player – can work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
