About the client:

With a shifting focus to the Asia marketplace, our client has been expanding and growing their regional business development and sales teams to accommodate to the growing business. A global software vendor that enables financial institutions around the world to make informed decisions that mitigate risks and compliance issues, they are in an extremely buoyant marketplace and is continuing to expand their reach and presence amongst the tier 1 and tier 2 financial institutions.

About the role:

As one of the key contributors, you will be part of a regional team responsible for building the client's business in the region through generating new business pipelines and managing current clientele base.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall sales performance and achieve revenue quota in the region
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with global financial institution clients across IT, risks and other business functions
  • Manage complex sales cycles, from business scoping to go-live stage
  • Identify new opportunities in the region and convert them into new businesses
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong sales pipeline and revenue
  • Propose relevant risk solutions and offerings to clients based on in-depth knowledge of the client's business and risk environment
  • Identify new prospect, develop campaigns and close deals as part of winning new businesses in line with global account development plans
  • Develop key relationships with senior decision makers and stakeholders internally and externally

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of hunter experience selling complex solutions or software into financial institutions, preferably within capital market, treasury or risk management
  • Strong network of contacts in the FI space
  • Passion, drive and desire to be part of a growing team that makes a difference for the client
  • Proven track record in selling into the FI space, with the ability to work across a very diverse set of culture
