The Role Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Information Assets and Security BIA Project in the delivery of the programme objectives including the preparation of training material, tactical and strategic tools, centralised data provision, reporting capabilities and tracking mechanisms.
  • Provide clear communication of principles and concepts that are required to ensure successful adoption of the framework within the businesses and their processes.
  • Assist the design and review of project deliverables as they relate to the control and risk framework to ensure the target operating model and infrastructure is best in class. Ensure that the approach taken recognises the context and objectives.
  • Represent ICS TRP on working groups established to implement the ICS RFT. Present progress, problems and solutions and track to closure
  • Mobilise and gain commitment for change with the business CEO's, COO's, CIO's and CRO's.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future business priorities to help shape the thinking in respect to ICS objectives.
Strategy
  • Identify changes to plan required in terms of additional components, reprioritisation to anticipate and respond to changes
Business
  • Establish and maintain working groups across domains to progress the framework roll out.
  • Escalate appropriately to ensure Senior Change Manager and RMFI Accountable Executive is briefed and necessary decisions are made in a timely manner.
Processes
  • Identify processes, or tasks that can be executed by the GBS Centre of Excellence teams to support the business/functions/countries/regions, and ensure appropriate training and transition of activities is performed
Risk Management
  • Support the RMFI team to manage the project professionally and efficiently, closely tracking timeline commitments for provision of information and action plans, and for validation of actions taken.
Governance
  • Establish cross regional governance to ensure efficient knowledge sharing and decision making.
  • Support the AE in the delivery of the programme objectives including the preparation of an Implementation Guide, training material, tactical and strategic tools, centralised data provision, reporting capabilities and tracking mechanisms.
  • Support execution of delivery plan by working with key stakeholders including the Office of the CISO and COOs/CIOs and face off to assigned Business lines, Functions and/or Regions. The plan will incorporate digital footprint discovery, risk assessment and definition and implementation of controls as guided by the ICS RTF and tailored to the relevant areas.
  • Ensure project reporting is up to date including project static, RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts. Deliver quality submissions to PSC .
  • Support and apply the refinement of tools, templates and good practice.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent organisation skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, global, pan-bank initiatives by driving collaboration and participation by functions, regions and countries.
  • Experience in the development and successful roll out of risk frameworks is preferred.
  • Extensive change experience, ideally gained in the financial industry
  • Recognised qualifications/certifications in Project and Change Management
  • Knowledge of the businesses, markets and operations of Standard Chartered Bank and relevant policies, procedures, and processes
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate level ensuring open cooperative environment
