Primary Objectives:

  • To manage the operations of assigned clients of OPER/FIN/TCF and ensure that daily transactions are processed accurately and promptly in accordance with UCP/URC/ISBP/URC/URR/ISP rules and bank's laid down procedures.
  • Ensure smooth work flow and cut off time are met.
  • To deliver quality back office support to business line and customers.

  • Attentive to control and ability to address operational risks
  • Relates to dealing with fellow colleague and clients.
- Colleague - appreciate and respect their needs/requirement by providing solutions/support within corporate policy
- Clients - ensure that the best level of service and quality is provided.
  • Timely and accurately convey all new transactions/application to RCM for update and provide additional scrutiny of credit sanction.


Profile

Key Skill Areas & Knowledge Required:

  • Reasonably sound knowledge on application of:-
- UCPDC 600. ISBP, URC 522, URR 725, ISP 98
- Proficient with SWIFT formats
  • Active team player with good communication skills.
  • Good initiative and be able to handle work pressures.
  • Diligent and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Good Team player
  • Ability to identify and provide operational solution to potential bottleneck in document process operation.
  • React positively to coaching by manager and immediate supervisor so as to achieve the next level of higher responsibility as internal controller.
  • Able to make practical, reasonable decisions in absence of detailed instructions.


Qualifications:

  • Related Banking and Finance Diploma with more than 5 years experience in Commodity Trade Finance.
  • Reasonably sound knowledge on application of:-
- UCPDC 600. ISBP, URC 522, URR 725, ISP 98
- Proficient with SWIFT formats
