Support Team Lead
Support Team Lead - Contract - East Sussex
This role contributes to the provision and support of the IT infrastructure and core applications, which are critical in support of both front line and back office service delivery. The role needs to maintain an expert knowledge and understanding of its specific technology area and how it is used. In liaison with the Senior Consultant Operations & Project Delivery, the role is responsible for planning and organising their own work and to proactively manage escalations from junior team members and provides assistance in the mentoring, coaching, mentoring and training of colleagues. It has responsibility for the overall ownership and management of allocated work, including customer communication and appropriate escalation. It is essential that the role has an advanced understanding of the impact their technology area has on the business. The role provides technical consultancy on services to customers and also the technical implementation and documentation of new services ensuring that they can be provided operationally as effectively as possible. The role also involves liaising with customers in an account management function and the undertaking of service reviews.

Good experience in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of policies & procedures and legislative requirements relevant to service area
Demonstrate an appreciation of ICT Service Management best practice
ITIL qualifications in relevant areas will be advantageous
Broad knowledge of ICT technologies
Satisfactory DBS clearance is required at offer stage
