The successful candidate will work in the Business Application Support team and provide business support for all Investment Applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience of working in an Investment Management firm in similar role and have prior experience on any of these applications Charles River/other OMS and any Back office system like Simcorp/Invest one or Eagle Pace. Provide first line support for all applications, primarily the SIC.NET (internal CRM/portfolio management) and Charles River (CR) systems but also any other system the department may be required to support from time to time such as the online client valuation system.

- Support CRM’s and Charles River (CR).
- Support all business units such as Asset management, operations etc.
- Trouble  shooting  and  analysis  of  daily  scheduled  job  related problems  on  SIC.net  and  CR  (Start  of  day/  Intraday,  Cash  feeds, Bloomberg, Rimes feeds etc.) as part of a rotating early shift (7.30am start).
- Responsible for initial investigation and prioritisation of each support requests and establishing whether developer assistance is required.
- Responsible for providing or helping to provide workaround solutions to support issues where possible while full solutions are developed. 
- To follow up on logged support requests and ensure that clear and regular communication on issue resolution is provided back to the business.
- To  ensure  proper  logging  of  support  requests  to  the  defect management  database  and  accurate  notation  of  progress  and resolution of issues.
- To ensure issues are escalated appropriately where required.
- To fully participate in the agile development process by preparing for and actively participating in regular backlog grooming meetings with the development team.
- Liaison  with  the  IT  Development  team  on  outstanding  priority support issues.
