Core Developer
The Company Exciting cutting-edge fintech is looking for a talented software developer to join its core development team in London. Empowering developers in major financial firms to be as productive as possible, they deliver a cloud-based, end-to-end development and production platform.
With open architecture, transparent source code, and automated infrastructure solutions, the platform provides clients with the tools to build reliable, scalable in-house functionality and fully integrated applications.
The Role You will be part of the team that architects and builds the platform, developing elements which include: designing components in collaboration with client-facing teams, high performance compute and batch schedulers, databases and APIs and network services and application proxies.
The ideal candidate is a polyglot familiar with many programming languages, who has experience of SDLC tools and agile methodologies. The tech stack includes C++, Python, Golang, Javascript and Rust.
Requirements - Solid C++ and Python skills and understanding is essential
- At least one database design experience, compilers, systems/kernel programming
- Desire to build tools/components for fellow developers, make hard things easy for others
- Effective communicator on all levels - technical and non-technical
- Self-motivated and content to work both individually and on team projects
