FINANCE BUSINESS ANALYST

Finance Business Analyst

* Location: Watford
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: 27/10/2019
* Paid Weekly Hours: 40
* Extension: Potential

Primary Duties

Document the Access Control Process for the GCV application.
Maintain the Risk & Control Matrices related to GCV R3
Support the formal documentation of BAU control processes that require updating as part of GCV R3
Support or develop a control document that will serve as the 'definitive' view of current access to GCV

Skills Required

Worked in the Finance space and is familiar with finance terminology
Worked in the IT infrastructure space to understand terminology (specifically around SOx, Active Directory, Access controls)
Demonstrated advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, list management)
Demonstrated intermediate skills on MS Word (online document revision and collaboration)
Demonstrated intermediate skills on MS PowerPoint (use of presentation recording)
Strong visual and verbal communication skills (use of charts)

Behaviours

Project Summaries

Projects that the candidates may be working on (both projects are within the Finance Transformation programme working specifically with Information Technology to deliver and implement software solutions)

Primary - Global Cost Visibility.

This project is to deliver a reporting suite that uses TM1. The suite of applications / report allow the business to see the COST of running the business GLOBALLY. Historically this was done by country, franchise etc.

The current work is to document and illustrate the processes - specifically to identify and manage processes where people submit or reconcile the data. This is an effort focused on SOx controls.

Secondary - Transfer Pricing

This project was established to establish and improve the calculation and distribution of transfer prices between areas of the business. This relates to the price that is used on individual items when they are moved from manufacturer, to distribution centres, other companies and to suppliers/end customers….. GLOBALLY.

The current work will be to document and illustrate processes and activities as it relates to implementing the processes across business areas and departments. Including, but not limited to

Data governance
Data quality
RACI related to data governance and quality
User Surveys (Net Promoter Scores)

Compulsory questions candidates will need to answer in further detail:
