The Fixed Term Analyst position is within the Fixed Income Trading Team. The successful candidate would gain exposure to a range of products and be responsible for supporting the Fixed Income and Currencies desks and the more senior members of the team.
Principal Responsibilities
- Developing front office infrastructure within VTB Bank, including but not limited to;
- Risk reporting systems, data collection, analysis and general MIS
- Assisting senior traders with desk duties - uploading, recording and executing trades
- Development of modelling tools for markets analysis
- Completing trade analytics and reconciliations
- Responsibility for regular management reporting
- Other tasks arising in the normal course of business of the Fixed Income and Currencies desks
Key Competencies & Qualifications
- The Fixed Term Analyst is expected to be a graduate of one of the leading Universities,
- Previous experience in sales and trading would be beneficial
- Degree in physics, mathematics or engineering is an advantage
- CFA qualification obtained or in progress would be beneficial
- Strong grasp of financial products and their functions
- String verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter; ability to identify, plan, and execute projects to ensure efficient and utmost use of technology
- The individual should be exceptionally motivated, ambitious and intellectually curious; enthusiastic team player with strong analytical and programming skills; results-focused achiever, responsible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
