The Lead Analyst, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis role willwork very closely with FX Sales and Trading in order to improve the quality ofdata being used to manage the FX businesses. Additionally, the individual will partnerwith business leads and business partners to drive improved analytics andreporting. The role will require interactive continuous improvement and projectdelivery, with a heavy focus on business analytics to better inform managementdecisions. The candidate will sit on thetrading floor and frequently interact with the various Front Office staff andbusiness partner groups.
Under moderate guidance, works with internal and external datasets andclient reference data and provides analysis in the development statistical,financial and/or econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securitiesdata, derivative pricing, risk exposure or other sophisticated concepts. Provides analytical support and preparesdrafts of standard and ad hoc reports for assigned area.

supports assigned area's with more advanced statistical and quantitativeanalyses. Serves as resource to less experienced colleagues. Runs models, looksfor exceptions, takes corrective action.

Uses technology tools to conduct analyses; applies techniques such asSQL and querying and macro development to extract data for populating models.

Has a good understanding of the relevant processes and products inassigned area and which analyses, methodologies and approaches best supportassessment of performance, risk, or valuation.

Interprets findings and prepares initial drafts of standard reports.Prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders.Translates complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences.

Reviews accuracy of reports and calculations performed by lessexperienced colleagues.

A relevant degree or the equivalent combination of education andexperience in either of the following (finance, data science, informationmanagement, mathematics, business information systems)
excellent quantitative and analytical skills knowledge of data analysis tools
knowledge of data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichmenttechniques
the ability to develop and document procedures and workflows the ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage experience with data analysis techniques
the ability to produce clear graphical representations and datavisualizations
basic knowledge of markets products and processes, ideally FX
an appreciation for data protection and experience with data governanceprinciples
Technology experience: advanced skills in Excel at least one relational database technology data and analytics programming languages - Python, R SQL Server and T-SQL Tableau
