Liquidity Risk Manager, AVP
Front office, first line of defence role focused on the oversight and production of all UK liquidity management frameworks to cover a material 3rd country branch and several FCA regulated investment firms. Support of wider geographical framework in Europe and APAC. The role will appeal to a candidate that has a strong grounding in a Treasury or a Finance function looking to expand their profile and existing knowledge of liquidity management on a global scale.

Role Specifics
  • Partner with key local and global stakeholders such as business management, liability management, asset management, finance/regulatory reporting and operations
  • Analyse and contribute international responses to liquidity related regulatory requirements such as consultative papers. Analyse and communicate the impact of these developments at the local and consolidated level
  • Address specific requirements as they relate to the UK legal entities to include the management and governing function approval of liquidity management framework and supporting documentation. Assist global counterparts as it relates to the implementation and on going management of likewise requirements
  • Take a proactive role in the implementation and on going management of key liquidity ratios at the local level considering their impact as they are consolidated through the legal entity structure
  • Working closely with centralised stress testing and ICAAP team contribute to the formulation of appropriate liquidity stress testing scenarios, documenting such as they pertain to in scope legal entities
  • Provide contribution and local insight as it relates to divisional initiatives such as the development of an enhanced intra-day liquidity and general liquidity optimisation efforts
  • Provide support and oversight of collateral utilisation, directing the optimisation and deployment of such
  • Assist in the improvement of daily and monthly management reporting and ensure appropriate monitoring and reporting of key risks exist to communicate relevant risk information to senior management. Some degree of quantitative experience will be required
