What it's about
The position supports the European Debt Team in settling loans and helping the portfolio managers in the daily fund cash management

Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand LMA/LSTA par/distressed standard documentation such as Trade confirmations, Transfer certificates, Proceeds Letters, Participation agreements, Multilateral agreements and Pricing letters
  • Calculate trading formulas, such as delayed compensation, cost of carry and economic benefit
  • Manage trade settlements, with the goal of settlement within the LMA/LSTA standards for settlement time
  • Monitor/track/report all trades using appropriate Closing tool
  • Co-ordinate with Portfolio Managers on cash flows in each fund and working to keep cash in line with requirements at all times
  • Liaise with Administrative Agents with regards to KYC documentation, including administrative details, tax and fund formation documents
  • Maintain closing pipeline and liaise with deal teams on timing of new investment approvals and closing requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of closing data onto internal systems and circulate to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Upload complete records of closing documentation to the document management system
  • Build and develop relationships with closing counterparties and various Partners Group teams
  • Help developing and improving the existing cash management and closing process
What we expect
  • Professional with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in trade support
  • College or University degree
  • Team-oriented individual
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task
  • Proficiency in English required
