My client, a leading Financial Services provider and investment bank, are looking to recruit a dynamic Client Services Manager to join their Derivatives Prime Services Business. This person will be the primary contact for a suite of clients; this will involve full Operation management of the client from winning the mandate through to Go Live and beyond. This is a busy and fast paced working environment and the successful person needs to be able to thrive in this type of environment, plus be passionate about client service and delivery and providing exceptional service.

This person will be the primary contact for a suite of clients; this will involve full Operation management of the client from winning the mandate through to Go Live and beyond.

The wider Prime Derivatives Services Ops business manages the Operational functions associated with Listed Derivatives (ETD) and OTC Clearing. Over 100,000 listed derivative trades clear via the team on a daily basis and my client is a premier provider of OTC Clearing Services, with a dominant market share in this growing business.

Key Accountabilities for the role:

  • Provide flawless client service; facilitating a smooth onboard; running various Operational workshops and managing the client's day to day margin requirements and queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Supporting the growing business actively seeking opportunities to combine and standardise processes across listed and OTC clearing.
  • Suggest and implement improvements from a control and efficiency perspective conforming to the required risk and control policies in place at the company.
  • Interacting with the prime services business partners to ensure a consistent approach to client service and to seek optimal solutions for our clients.

Require Skills & Experience:

  • Good honours degree or equivalent preferred but not essential.
  • Extensive investment banking operations experience. In depth knowledge of investment banking processes and Operations.
  • Knowledge of the Listed Derivatives & OTC product.
  • Good client services experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in business process reengineering.
  • Strong track record of execution and results, high level of drive to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Confident communicator able to interact with external clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
  • Strong time management and ability to coordinate with various teams to action items.
  • Self-starting team player, able to demonstrate initiative and work under little supervision.
  • Ability to think logically and adopt a fact based approach to issue resolution.
  • Confident in use of excel and data manipulation.
  • Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments.
  • Knowledge of Futures and Listed Options and/or OTC Clearing either in a clearing, middle office or client service function.
  • Languages (preferred)
