Senior Disaster Recovery Compliance Specialist
Why is this role the next step for you? This role will provide expert insight into disaster recovery best practices and an industry perspective regarding effective disaster recovery processes. In this role, you'll work closely with IT stakeholders to update disaster recovery plans, remediate open issues, and to address lessons learned while ensuring compliance. Stakeholders must be trained to ensure they are prepared to participate effectively in disaster recovery exercises and that all necessary documentation processes and tools required for those exercises are fit for purpose.
How will you contribute on a day-to-day basis? In this role, you'll be responsible for the disaster recovery exercise plan, which will include the attestation of individual applications and services, scenario-based tabletop walkthroughs and the preparation and invocation of integrated disaster recovery plans.

Additionally, the role is responsible for reviewing and providing feedback related to current processes, cross team dependencies, handoffs and risks related to Worldpay core applications, and the production and dissemination of management reports. You'll work closely with all IT teams including Incident, Problem and Change Management, Worldpay Security Services, internal and external auditors, Enterprise Architecture and the technology development organisations throughout the service lifecycle of all applications and services.
What will make you the right fit for the team? You'll have the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across business and technology. You'll have experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, infrastructure resilience and redundancy, audit and compliance or IT risk mitigation, as well as a technical background in Data Centre or Network Operations.

The ability to assess Disaster Recovery capabilities, understanding gaps and risks and their impact to the organisation is an important part of the role. You'll have experience with Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery for mission critical systems, and knowledge of PCI or payments technology is advantageous. How is Worldpay changing the world? Worldpay has merged with Vantiv Inc. to build a new global leader in payments.
