Senior Programme Manager, Client Change Practice
Client Change Practice is a global group within the Product and Client Solutions function responsible for the management of significant client projects. The team operates globally in London, Chicago, Dublin, Limerick, Luxembourg, Basel, Hong Kong, Bangalore and Melbourne and covers a broad range of products and services across but not limited to Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, FX and Investment Operations Outsourcing.

Programme Management Role

The Client Change Management group works closely with Clients, Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, Product Management & Client Implementations to deliver effective change management from change initiation though to implementation and benefits realisation. The group is responsible for programme management, project management and client change as well as business consultancy and business analysis, brought about by strategic direction, client's changes, industry regulations and/or operational efficiency directives.
This is an exciting and rapidly growing area of the business with a significant pipeline of activity.

  • Responsible for managing large scale client programmes with multiple projects and work streams. Programmes involve delivery of critical client, operational or regulatory changes that impact multiple business units or disciplines.
  • Provide enhanced Client interface, communication and change governance on change items managed
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communicating effectively with different business units at all levels when managing initiatives
  • This role is responsible for aligning resources, overseeing agreed budgets, creating project plans and trackng key milestones/risks/dependencies. This is the key coordinator to ensure Implementation of critical Client, Operational and Regulatory change
  • Ensure all project updates are routinely and effectively communicated to clients, business partners and vendors, demonstrating strong communication
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on a timely manner, within budget and the procedures generated are robust for operational staff and that the project has met its objectives
  • Maintain or enhance, as appropriate, a structured and focused mechanism for take on of new business and/or new products
  • Elicitation of client and business need through structured interviews and information gathering sessions. Document clearly defined business requirements and validation with the client and business partners with timely sign off, including clarity on agreed scope and items not in scope
  • Work with key NT stakeholders groups to manage resolution, escalations and presentation of same to Client
  • Programme Manager to help build positive relationship and network with key stakeholders in client group

The successful will benefit from having some of the following qualities:

  • Demonstrated experience working within Asset Servicing/Investment Management with detailed understanding of Investment Operations Outsourcing, Transfer Agency, Custody and/or Fund Accounting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of investment management, back and middle office functions from trade processing and settlements through cash processing, income and corporate actions processing, data management, valuations, client reporting and performance
  • Substantial experience within Programme/Project Management within Asset Servicing/Investment Management
  • Proven track record of delivering change programmes successfully (both technical and business projects)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a Sr. Level audience to help drives decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, build and maintain strong and effective working relationships at all levels across the organization and also externally to clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultancy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong MS Project skills; additionally user experience with MS Word, MS Project Power Point, and MS SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to document requirements to a granular and IT specific level, plan project resources and timeframes, manage IT and UAT resources to successful project completion
  • Degree within in relevant background is preferred
