Role Description: BNY Mellon is investing heavily in their eFX (electronic FX) offering and is hiring talented development resources to build out its capabilities in London. This role will work in a small globally distributed team of eFX and Java experts. The aim is to automate as much of the business as possible and improve software quality and resiliency. Amongst the projects and components the candidate can expect to be involved with are: integration with client ECN venues, enhancing our client facing algorithmic trading product and co-lo data centre transformation. Responsibilities: •Develop key components of our eFX target state architecture by build new components on modify exiting ones. •Be a trusted partner with the London business. •Manage deliverables across multiple system owners to deliver critical changes to existing systems. •Manage and resolve risks, issues and dependencies.

Qualifications
Requirements: •We are looking are a combination of the following technical skills: oCore Java oUNIX/Linux scripting oSQL oFIX API knowledge (nice to have) •Prior experience in analysing and delivering software components for production systems •Knowledge of electronic trading systems or FX products •Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
