Description of the Business Line or Department - Summary of the business, coverage, services

Within Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Information Technologies Department (ITEC), is in charge of providing other departments with the Information System support. In every GBIS implantation all over the world, ITEC manages high quality and competitive tools respecting technology and cost standards.



Summary of the key purposes of the role - Summary of the key objectives and primary goals (minimum 3)
Based in London or Paris, two of the leading financial market places in Europe, you will join the ITEC/PRM team which support the Prime Services Business line.

This position will cover the full Synthetic trading chain which utilises the following technologies: Fidessa, Control framework (PDCHub/D2C), trading tools (EBTS/SPB.net) and RTMA market access (RTGen).

This position will have very close and collaborative contact with the Front Office using the SILK products.

Based in London or Paris in a very dynamic environment, as the Global Client Relationship Manager for the Synthetic Trading chain systems and activities (SILK), your role is to ensure collaboration between ITEC and the business in order to give a better visibility on production quality. You are also involved in the global business chain follow up and will pro-actively and continuously contribute to the improvement of the SILK IT production chain as well as contributing to the direction of the platform with the Application Owner and Manager.


Summary of responsibilities - Minimum of 6 responsibilities to be identified

Be the Single Point of Contact for the SILK Business and Business relationship manager ("BRM") on transversal topics for IT Production
Globally, in conjunction with the IT teams supporting each component you will:
o Drive production quality follow-up and analysis to identify the pain points and build the necessary action plan to reduce.
    • Implement/manage chain monitoring tools consistently across the chain and across all regions
o Ensure the coordination of IT Major events & business process
o Govern production meeting for senior management as well as regular production reviews at an operational level
o Set up accurate measures on production (SLA, KPI, Production dashboards)
Lead the transversal projects/initiatives related to the SILK Production.
  • Contribute to SILK design and evolution to ensure scalability / supportability & resilience
  • Cartograph production risks along the chain and propose corrective action to product owners/sponsors

WORK EXPERIENCE
University graduate, with an exposure to Finance, you have a functional knowledge in finance and global markets.
Strong experience on IT technology and electronic related market activities.

• Very reactive, be able to work with users and solve their problems quickly under stressful situations.
