They are a boutique investment bank specialising in mid-market technology deals, representing European growth businesses in M&A and financing transactions. The team is composed of experienced professionals with a proven track record of success in the technology sector. The bank has a global network of investors and acquirers, and they pride themselves on delivering tailored solutions to meet their clients' needs.
Job Description:
The mid-market advisory business is looking for an Associate/Vice President to join our growing team in London. In this role, you will play a key role in executing M&A and financing transactions for their technology clients. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients to develop financial models, conduct due diligence, prepare marketing materials, and negotiate deal terms.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior bankers to execute M&A and financing transactions
- Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analysis
- Conduct due diligence on potential targets and acquirers
- Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, and other client presentations
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations
- Mentor and train junior team members
Requirements:
- Speak multiple European languages
- 3-7 years of investment banking experience, with a focus on technology deals
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Proven track record of successful deal execution
