We're looking for talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer with skills and experience of working with Skype for Business to join our growing community of experts and become a key part of one of the biggest and highest-profile digital transformation programmes in the world.

You and your role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be a skilled practitioner and a role model in Infrastructure solutions, with a background and skills in Skype for Business. You'll be responsible for ensuring best practices are adhered to across the department and guiding teams on how to deliver quality Infrastructure products. You will have a key role in the design of infrastructure services for the UK's largest government department, for products and services used by millions of people. You'll work in collaboration with talented colleagues from across Architecture and Engineering, with a focus on the operational stability, robustness, resilience, availability and quality of our Infrastructure solutions.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

  • Lync and Skype for Business On-Line / Hybrid implementations in large organisations ( > 5000 users).
  • Worked with large in-house technical teams to co-ordinate technical requirements and deliveries.
  • An understanding of, or experience of implementing PSTN / PBX migrations to skype for business.
  • Experienced in PowerShell scripting for automation of processes.
  • Demonstrate experience of Microsoft Unified Communications - including Skype For Business engineering and consultancy.
  • Networking skills, including troubleshooting networks and associated tools for analysis.
