We now need a Technical Manager  to support the transformation and the future growth of the business within the Marketing  Function so it can operate as an integrated marketing team that positions Canada life as a market leader in the UK, by creating a single ‘One Canada Life’ brand, delivering a seamless digital experience for our customers and employees, and bring the brand to life.

Job summary

To support the implementation of marketing and technical projects and activities that support key professional advisers and the sales teams resulting in a growing share of advisers’ business

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver technical consultancy support for target advisers. In particular, support that enhances the adviser sales process and client understanding resulting in an increased and sustained share of business from those target advisers.
  • Assess new legislation for the impact and opportunities they may bring, providing recommendations and working with internal and external stakeholders to implement ideas.
  • Support and actively contribute to the process of undertaking regular structured research of the market place resulting in producing detailed analysis and recommendations to the management team within agreed timescales.
  • To professionally represent the company to increase name awareness and enhance market perception through articles, media communication and presentations on technical issues.
  • To continually review and improve the department’s processes and structure to ensure that the area delivers services and support at levels of quality and productivity consistent with business objectives. To ensure that the department has effective procedures and controls to meet its regulatory requirements (such as the T & C scheme) and that any new regulations or policies are successfully implemented.
  • To report, on a regular basis, activity and results in line with key personal objectives as agreed with the line manager
