Change Recruitment Groups Global Fund Administrator for Private Equity Funds is looking to hire an Assistant Manager - Private Equity Fund Admin to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will ensure the efficiency of the section is maintained and is in line with the Company’s procedures, deal with client requests for assistance and meet the Company’s SLAs. To ensure that new clients and prospects are brought on efficiently and with a good first impression of thee business. A sound knowledge of Company Secretarial tasks with an ability to apply the relevant regulations and rules associated with business activities and guide junior members of staff accordingly.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager - Private Equity Fund Administration:

• All work undertaken complies with the Fund’s documentation and relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Assist the Team Manager in supervision, monitoring and appraisal of the team.
• Follow Company procedure at all times.
• Promote excellent relationships with clients of the Company.
• Build effective relationships between individual team members.
• Motivate and empower the team by building their capabilities.
• Deputies’ if required during Line Manager Absences.
• To assist with the training and development of staff.
• To provide cover to other sections in times of need.
• To assist with all aspects of general administration of clients when time frames allow.
• Co-ordinate and arrange board meetings of General Partners of funds and other companies administered in the team and ensure that all AGM’s, proxies and notices are dispatched in a timely manner.
• Maintain quality and control of processes and meet deadlines for meetings.
• Attend board meetings; assist with taking of minutes and presentation of reports.
• Assist with the smooth running of the Investment, and Call and Distribution process.
• Attend internal meetings organised with relevant personnel to establish the required tasks and deadlines to be undertaken internally, once investment recommendations have been received.
• Liaise with key personnel in client groups to ensure that all operational issues are communicated effectively.
• Assist with ensuring all client requests are responded to in a timely fashion.
• Assist with maintaining on-going review and updating of procedures for the team.
• Ensure the compliance monitoring of the Funds are adhered to by less experienced administrative staff at all times.
• To manage workloads to ensure that the Company’s required minimum chargeability is maintained.
• Assist the Fund Accountants with the control and production of management, interim and audited accounts for all the team’s clients.
• Control and monitor the bookkeeping process.
• Review the ledgers on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager - Private Equity Fund Administration:

• Have around 5 years working with a financial institution, preferable within P.E.
• Ability to reflect and review your actions and motivate oneself and your team.
• Think creatively and deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Possess personal qualities of integrity, good communication and discretion.
• A confident manner and the ability to communicate with clients effectively.
• An ability to work under pressure.
• Strong IT skills.
• General knowledge of banking systems.
• Preferred Vocational Qualifications ICSA diploma, CSQS, ACCA or equivalent
