Client Relationship Associate

Our Private Client Services business was founded more than four decades ago as a family office for Capital Group’s senior executives and their families. We have since expanded into a full-service wealth management and trust company, overseeing some $22 billion in assets for a select group of discriminating high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and endowments nationwide. Though we are an exclusive boutique and maintain a relatively small number of client relationships, we are able to tap into in-depth, world-class research and portfolio management experience from around the globe. 

The PCS Client Relationship Associate is a key member of the client relationship team, working with the Relationship Specialist to support the Investment Counselor who markets, establishes and maintains relationships with and provides investment strategies for high net worth investors. The associate executes the administrative needs of the Investment Counselor and marketing, client reporting and initiation of account administration needs as directed by the Investment Counselor and/or Relationship Specialist.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of prospect and client facing presentations and correspondence.
  • Calendar management, travel and expense reports.
  • Initiation of new account opening, maintenance, account closing and gifting, cash processing, including documentation and client notification.
  • Client and intermediary contact including specialized reporting.
  • Compliance with all business processes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative or operations experience.
  • Knowledge of wealth management and/or trust business, ideally in the high-net-worth space (private bank, RIA, trust company, etc.) preferred.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal communication and sales skills that can thrive in a challenging and collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrates high level of time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with integrity and ownership of work.
  • Displays intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, critical thinking and sound judgment in problem resolution of moderate complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
