What are the goals of the team and how can you contribute to its success?
The Strategic Relationship Team (SRT) - Account Manager role will cultivate strong personal and professional relationships with key individuals at targeted firms, ensuring that there are strong and effective partnership-based relationships.
The role will use an extensive knowledge of investment strategies & their macroeconomic underpinnings and understanding of how to address the special needs of the gatekeepers to influence client investment decisions.
The role will have responsibilities for setting client engagement strategy. The position will also lead various internal coordination functions, working closely with key business partners/stakeholders across Franklin Templeton including members of our investment management groups. Will proactively share successes and key learnings more broadly across FT.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the SRT – Account Manager role?
Strategically Drive Home Office Relationships
The primary function is strategic relationship management of selected financial intermediary clients. Explore and execute strategic opportunities for joint product development opportunities, marketing campaigns. Understand service, marketing and communications needs of these organizations. Work strategically to evaluate sales potential of the relationships. Identify opportunities to leverage and expand the relationships with regard to new and changing products and services. Coordinate operational capabilities of the organization to resolve problems that create cost savings and develop innovative ways of managing the value creation process.Deliverables
Leadership, Divisional Reporting& Administration
Partner with relevant internal specialists (i.e., Product, Investment management, Client Service, RFP, etc.) throughout FT to strengthen investment recommendations to provide sales support and service. Educate FT organization to bring better understanding of our client-base. Serve as a resource for partnership on thought leadership in the investment space and applicable business space. Work closely with colleagues across Sales organization as well as portfolio investment management groups to build strategy to maximize our market penetration across our investment capabilities. As part of the sales organization, attend industry events and conferences and report back to internal business partners on trends and opportunities.Deliverables
