This request is to backfill the role of the Solutions Architect on the Restaurant Systems Management (RSM) team.
Required Skills / Responsibilities
Working knowledge of the Retail technology environment
Identify client requirements, analyze alternatives and conduct product recommendations related to software, platform and network configurations
Conduct architectural evaluation, design and analysis of enterprise wide systems throughout entire client's System
Create, document a solution prototype and present to various Architecture Review Boards (ARBs)
Develop, enhance and maintain established service design procedure and process
Identify, design, select (build/buy), pilot and enhance the in technology solution
Control solution development working with the technical development team to implement the solution
Support project management practices through completion
Work closely with Capgemini Architecture Services team to assure compliance
Ensure application development team delivers system solution in support of architect solution
Provide technical advice to the team
Demonstrate deep analytical skills to understand business process and impact to strategic goals
Support testing efforts of the solution
Lead responsibility for ongoing suggestions and best practices for solutions across business continuity, backup, recovery, high availability
Design a solution that meets or exceeds the client's and/or Capgemini security standards
Proficient in creating flow diagrams
Knowledge of Microsoft .Net framework development approaches
Knowledge in Rally, Agile DevOps or similar agile tool
Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Environment
Basic networking knowledge and skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio
Ability to create reports, metrics and presentations outlining progress and findings
Ability to clearly communicate business needs to technical resources
Good organization skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, sometimes ambiguous environment
Fast learner and adaptable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
