Our Enterprise Data Governance and Management team (EDGM) is responsible for implementing and operationalizing Data Governance across the organization and developing a data centric culture.

As an Enterprise Data Steward Lead, you will:
Help govern data domains across the enterprise, while ensuring the highest level of data quality, integrity, privacy, availability, security and usability
Manage intakes for EDGM services, including review and oversight on the delivery of services from a prioritization, financial, resource, and Service Level Agreement perspective
Write and implement EDGM policies, standards and operational procedures including maturity progress and continuous improvement of the Operating Model
Drive Data Stewardship processes to institutionalize enterprise-wide policies and standards, and execute operating procedures, governed solutions
How you will spend your day: The Data Steward Leads support the definition of data policy and standards; data governance priorities; change management strategies and communication plans. We also work on the future composition, direction and roles of the data governance organizational framework.
We are accountable for integrity and quality of data through the establishment of requirements and assessment of the quality of our data. We work collaboratively with business/initiative stewards to continually measure performance stewardship. Some of the tactical activities you will find yourself engaged in could include:
Continually assessing opportunities for data quality improvement, while identifying issues, root causes and remedies
Supporting Day-to-Day Data Stewardship Operations
Driving enterprise data-decision making processes and facilitating discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements
Guiding the business and initiative area steward needs for information sourcing; provisioning; consumption; standardization; and reporting & analytics. Conducting as-needed alignment meetings on strategic data initiatives.
Driving the resolution of data, information and processing challenges that are having an adverse impact on the operational environment and/or business performance.
Minimum 7 years' experience in business operations roles with data focus, and have managed data platforms with clear data driven objectives, in a highly regulated data environment
Bachelors' degree in computer, business or a related activity (or equivalent)
Strong leadership and organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflicts
Well grounded in your understanding of enterprise data management concepts, principles and practices, with an ability to understand data models and taxonomy.
A deep appreciation of data standards and quality, along with outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
