Under theguidance of Operations Management, the Operations Clerk will handle specialprojects and work interdepartmentally to support Restructuring and Mass Tort,along with other departments as needed.  A detail-oriented personality,strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment arenecessities.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to meet tight project deadlines on-time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication with staff and management at multiple levels

Education and Experience

High schooldiploma or general education degree (GED)


Abilityto read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/ journals/technical procedures/gov.regulations; write reports/business correspondence/procedure manuals;effectively present information/respond to questions frommanagers/clients/customers/public.


Abilityto work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statisticalinference, fundamentals of plane, and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, andproportions to practical situations

  • Understand relevant Bankruptcy and Mass Tort documents and their processes.  Process, scan and input claims and ballots in KCC CaseView.  Monitor electronically filed claims and ballots and input as needed.
  • Organize and file general case documents to uphold integrity of original document tracking system.
  • Sort and organize large volumes of undeliverable mail by case and mailing.  Track and maintain undeliverable mail to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare changes of address to be scanned into KCC CaseView.  Forward mail to creditors with updated address and update records in the system.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for client projects.  Maintain a daily log of incoming FedEx, Overnights and Certified mail.
  • Assist with claims filing for Class Action Antitrust Litigation matters.
