A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Analyze user and technical problems on Computershare / CCS applications such as Global Viewpoint, Capturepoint, Infiniti, Scotia Hub, and Republicast.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Monitor and analyze performance of different systems and provides feedback to the team leads, Infrastructure/DMZ team and also development team both in North America and abroad.

  • Resolves client problems. Gathers information and liaison with the local development team and business analysts.

  • Supports assigned applications and services and works closely with the infrastructure team (primarily the DMZ and DBAs group) based in Canton by providing required information to assist in the completion of tasks.

  • Works with problem ticket system/bug tracking system and follow up on urgent requests as required.

  • Perform software deployments for assigned products

  • Other responsibilities will be defined by the NA Production Manager on an annual basis to account for changes of landscape and to provide career growth.

  • The NA Production Support Analyst reports directly to the assigned NA Production Support Team Leader.

  • Ensure that system availability and performance is our top priority

  • Document and proactively refine support processes in consultation with the Support Manager

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area required

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/12/16 and IIS 7/8

  • Understands networking and load balancing concepts

  • Solid SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 experience
  • Powershell: Ability to write and execute scripts

  • 3+ years of experience in Technology Production Support role.

  • Should have experience in the .NET framework
  • Preferred knowledge working with Service Now ticketing system and Octopus Deploy automation tools

  • Has understanding of web-based software architecture, deployment and configuration on Windows platform.

  • Has good understanding of web security aspects.

  • Has experience in supporting and administering large scale, enterprise level software systems.

Language Ability

Mathematical Ability

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
