CRE is recruiting for its next Credit Analystclass to join the National Underwriting Team. This selective program willprovide an excellent foundation in commercial real estate and credit principlesas Analysts gather, analyze and interpret information on prospective loans, aswell as review existing loans to identify, evaluate and recommend action tominimize risk. The role prepares candidates for internal opportunities inRelationship Management, Capital Markets, Underwriting Management, and Credit. CRECredit Analysts will be responsible for underwriting new business opportunitiesand loan portfolio monitoring by assisting Relationship Managers and PortfolioManagers in two primary areas:
Originationof CRE loans: The preparation of new businessopportunities for credit approval including project, market and sponsorfinancial analysis, structuring of loan terms and risk evaluation.
Monitoringof CRE loans: Ongoing portfolio management of existing loans including market analysis, covenant compliancetracking, collection and analysis of financial statements, problem loanreporting, and ongoing assessment of risk factors which may affect a projectsand/or clients risk profile.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of credit and/or sales experience in the financial services industry
Strong sales and relationship management skills
Thorough understanding of credit and collateral requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
