Senior BA leading Client Revenue (cRev) stream and Book of Work for GM Data/Analytics team.
Collaborating with the business partners, drive book of work prioritization, requirement elicitation and validation, providing regular status updates to the partners, and taking responsibility for various project artifacts.
Deliver project plans, status reports, and functional requirement documents.
Team up with Business users and bridge gaps between business and IT.
Deeply understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.
Elicit, analyze and validate business requirements.
Write specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Develop functional specifications and interface specifications for client engagements.
Communicate necessary changes to development team.
Contribute to QA team on test plan reviews and assist in QA testing process with requirements clarifications and questions.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
Lead analysis and delivery for key initiatives within cRev Book of Work such as APAC EQD trade straight thru processing, A1 logic rationalization, E vs Voice analysis, FX issues, BD5 vs Effective Date Logic, cross-regional data flow issues; as well as strategic system assessments.
Liaise with the business (IB Client Finance, Product COOs) on understanding data and reporting requirements.
Lead book of work prioritization calls, requirement discussions and project status update discussions with the business.
Liaise with other IT teams on analyzing and sourcing the data to support required analytics.
Produce documentation as needed, including project plans, status reports, functional specifications, data dictionaries, etc.
Liaise with development team on defining data structures to hold the data, transformation logic, and reporting specifications based on user requirements.
Contribute to QA team on explaining requirements, suggesting improvements and assisting with QA testing process.
Support UAT process.
Deep knowledge of various Fixed Income and Equities products and systems used for bring together and booking of these products.
Deep understanding of trade life cycle events and front-office to back-office system flows.
You possess experience leading teams of Business Analysts on various analysis initiatives.
You are proficiency with Excel, MS Word, MS Visio and PowerPoint.
You have proficiency with SQL with ability to extract and analyze large volumes of data using Oracle or Sybase databases.
You are proficiency building roadmaps, project plans, and interface specification documents, attribute mapping documents, functional specifications.
You have deep Knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Confluence and MS Project.
You should possess superb communication (verbal and written) skills.
You possess super problem solving and analytical skills.
You have at least 5+ years working experience in similar area.
