Chief Operating Officer (Global Technical Services) - Banking Operations Jersey City - United States
Manage key activities for the Global Technical Services function in the Americas. These activities include defining staff location strategy, project portfolio, budget, operating metrics and all financials. Key liaison for technology infrastructure services and all other banking functions. These partners include technology, finance, human resources, compliance and legal departments. Engage in financial and performance monitoring, including all aspects of technology investments, project performance, staffing plans and department objectives. Ensure the successful following of sourcing and procurement processes for infrastructure services in the Americas. Engage in monthly monitoring and detailed analysis of costs and trends, including expense management, accruals follow-up, CapEx tracking and contract management. Perform monthly forecast and annual budget construction. Use solid communication skills (verbal and written) to interpret and review monthly budgets, actuals, forecasts and costs with line managers and their clients. Provide analysis and support for quarterly business reviews and measurement of performance by using global KPIs. Assist teams in tracking progress to meet objectives relating to project and product delivery. Prepare and report on costs, headcount trends and performance relative to planned deliverables. Prepare and provide key metrics on the capacity, performance and cost of key infrastructure components such as cloud, storage, servers and networks. Assist with managing and monitoring staff plans in order to maintain controls on new hires and replacement hires based on budget and staff plan roadmap. Work with Human Resources to monitor headcount, cost centers, organizational hierarchies and the general business model.

Profile Required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Financial Control, Financial Engineering, Business Management, Economics or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience at a global company or financial institution performing financial analysis, trending, reporting and risk management of technological infrastructure (including cloud computing, datacenter application hosting, database management, storage management, telecommunications and networking, and end user services). Must have experience in the following: any professional experience performing financial modeling; any professional experience using Excel, Visual Basic or C++ to create macros; any professional experience working with technology infrastructure; any professional experience working with HR, front office personnel, operations, finance, and management.
