Your role

Are you interested in pursuing your career in Asset Management? Does working in a Engineering business excite you? We’re looking for someone to:
•ensure successful development and delivery of a division wide Reference Data Platform (Asset management Data HUB (AMDH)) for Security Master, Price, Benchmark etc.. 
•work in partnership with the Asset Management Chief Data Office’s (CDO) Reference Data Team, the Reference Data Technical Lead will be responsible the build-out of a strategic Reference Data technology solution (SMARTCO), as well as the integration of this solution with key data sources. 
•work closely with the CDO Reference Data Team who is responsible for overall Reference Data strategy & policy, the IT Delivery lead will drive technology initiatives aimed at enabling an active Central Reference Data framework. 
•work in close collaboration with other Asset Management IT Teams to plan & deliver robust integration solutions across various in-flight programs and existing systems. 
•make sure Reference Data is ingrained in the divisional technical architecture, so the ability to effectively manage a multitude of dependencies is firmly required.

Your team

You’ll be working in the AMDH IT team in Weehawken, NJ, New York City and Chicago. This team already consists of a lead developer & business analyst, who have developed an extensive amount of custom workflows & functionality within SMARTCO. The team works in an agile/scrum format and is eager to have you join and extend the approach.

Your expertise

You have:
•a bachelor's degree in either Science, Information Technology, Mathematics
•8+ years of diverse experience in designing and managing innovative solutions in Asset Management or Financial services domain
•5+ years of experience in managing global teams
•very Good knowledge of Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
•very strong Java/ J2EE and web service integration skills. 
•knowledge of REST technology.
•experience with EDM tool/product implementation, configuration, APIs ,Connect etc. SMARTCO experience is a plus.
•experience with enterprise integration solution such as MuleSoft, JBoss, Spring etc
•hands•on experience with Web/Application development (HTML, CSS, APIs •REST, JSON) and BPMN workflow development
•strong experience with RDBMS like Oracle SQL, MS SQL, and My SQL
•knowledge of Enterprise Data Management (EDM),Data Quality, Data Profiling
•knowledge of Data management standards.
•proven experience in Agile Development methodology
•good knowledge of Asset Management data and business processes

The candidate will have following focus areas:
•collaborate with Reference Data Solutions team within the AM Chief Data Office to gather Data requirements and ensure their successful delivery through technology solutions
•lead the overall technical solution for Reference Data initiatives, interacting across departments (business, operations, and IT) to translate requirements into technical solutions
•establish & manage a team of skilled engineers & business analysts in multiple locations to execute Data strategy
•based on Reference Data requirement needs, manage the design and development of processes and connectors around SMARTCO (EDM Tool), overseeing overall functional design, development, and testing.
•enable complex integrations between AMDH (SMARTCO) and various data sources/ systems throughout the division, ensuring AMDH is a central Data Platform for Security Master, Prices, Benchmark etc.. 
•collaborate with relevant shared services functions such as Infrastructure Services, Global Production Services, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Information Security etc. to ensure timely completion of the planned book of work
•ensure security, scalability and business continuity of the data infrastructure
