Description

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Communications for the Private Funds Group (PFG), the Communications Analyst is the data administrator for the team, as well as Private Funds Investor Relations, supporting the communications efforts for Brookfield's private funds business. A very fast-growing area of the firm, our Private Funds organization is one of the key, external-facing teams interacting with clients and institutions across the financial sector.

The role involves managing data, campaigns, and QA aspects of our CRM software platform (Salesforce) and related communications applications (CVENT, Pardot and other TBD systems) to support any Communications Team or Private Funds Investor Relations Team initiatives. This person can also assist with Brookfield website projects and other general projects as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point person for maintaining the systems networks required for implementing various investor communications. This includes:
    • Building and maintaining event management system (within CVENT) in conjunction with Salesforce in support of investor conferences and events
    • Creating, coordinating and distributing email marketing campaigns (within Salesforce and Pardot)
    • Generating and building custom reports and database information
    • Providing recommendations for email marketing strategy and campaign structure and logic to enhance the client communications roadmap, and minimize bounce backs and spam flagging
  • Working closely with the Sales Team, Project Management Team, Private Funds Investor Relations and Investment Teams to manage both large and ad-hoc communications campaigns while leveraging automated email tools to support marketing and communications initiatives
  • Providing support for other Communications activities. This includes:
    • Helping to maintain the Brookfield website and assisting with other website initiatives
    • Becoming the product expert for the various email automation tools used across the firm to support operations where necessary and provide back-up capabilities

Qualifications
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1-2 years previous professional experience
  • Proficiency with specialized software, including contact management (Salesforce and Pardot) and event management (CVENT)
  • High level of proficiency in Excel
  • Meticulousness, with an extreme attention to detail, is essential
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work, multi-task and prioritize
  • Organized, proactive and self-motivated individual
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization
