Corporate and Investment Bank Strategy
Duties: Drive strategic projects for and advise senior executives on key business decisions and change initiatives. Plan project governance, identify and deconstruct issues and opportunities, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations and solutions. Develop advisor relationships with key internal client stakeholders. Drive project teams across multiple constituents and workstreams. Coach and mentor team members.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience as an Investment Banker, Business Analyst, Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: defining, structuring, and providing solutions for complex issues in investment banking (mergers and acquisitions, equity capital raising, and debt capital raising), or markets (securities and derivatives trading, prime brokerage, and research), or treasury services (cash management and liquidity solutions) or securities services (custody, fund accounting, and administration); Developing international growth strategies through assessment and planning of new products and market entry; Conducting strategic business deep dives to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness; Reviewing opportunities for investments, acquisitions, and divestitures to define strategic fit and assess feasibility; Financial modeling, corporate finance company valuation, data analysis and synthesis; Presenting project analyses and recommendations to senior executives; and Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
