Upon achievement of appropriate diversification of managers and strategies, Hedge Solutions expects to launch a multi-strategy hedge fund as well as single strategy funds.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Investment Teams, including managing calendars, booking travel, coordinating participation at conferences and meetings with company management, producing expense reports and other administrative tasks
  • Interface with sellside firms and other internal and external parties on behalf of Investment Teams to secure seats at conferences, company meetings and for other purposes
  • Screen incoming phone calls
  • Assist with resolving IT issues for Investment Teams
  • Prepare internal and external communications
  • Coordinate and produce confidential reports
  • Assist with various adhoc requests from Investment Teams, including research and data gathering
  • Utilize analytical skills and a broad understanding of the business to interpret and anticipate the needs of the Investment Teams and proactively bring together appropriate resources to be supportive in addressing issues
  • Receive visitors by greeting and directing them appropriately
  • General office responsibilities, including ordering of supplies and liaising with property manager and others as necessary

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior experience working at a hedge fund or financial services firm is preferred but not required
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Comfortable supporting multiple teams simultaneously
  • Experience working with Salesforce a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive
  • Desire to work in a team-based entrepreneurial environment with an ability to collaborate and build relationships with individuals at all levels within and external to the organization
  • Client servicing mind set with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to establish priorities, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Team player and collaborative provide support to other groups when time warrants, during absences, holidays etc.
