Description


The Capital Markets Solutions Marketing Review Controls team("MRC") is looking for an experienced professional to assist with the reviewand approval of internal and external communications consistent with FINRA Rule2210, internal policies and guidelines and securities laws. The ideal candidate should have solid regulatoryknowledge of securities regulations, particularly those related to marketingand social media. Additionally,candidates should possess excellent oral and written communications skills, theability to work independently and in a team environment and relationshipbuilding skills to enable open dialogue and partnership with clients in thebusiness which we support.

Responsibilities


Provides informed, meaningful and constructive guidance onregulatory matters and is involved in the review and approval of marketing,advertising, social media and other internal and external communications, tohelp ensure regulatory and JPMC global compliance and supervisory proceduresare met. Be involved in the enhancementand on-going implementation of marketing review applications aimed atefficiency, accuracy and record retention. Seek innovative ways to address and mitigate risks. The position will have responsibilitiesacross multiple lines of business and regions.
This includes the following job requirements
  • Collaboratively work with the PB ComplianceDepartment on the enhancement, communication of and adherence to internalMarketing Review Guidelines
  • Create monthly and ad hoc metrics concerning thevolumes of internal and external communications reviewed/approved, looking forpatterns and trends for reporting to senior management
  • Act as point person for the review and approvalof marketing presentations and other communications originating in the fieldand assist local SMs with questions concerning correspondence review
  • Apply supervisory experience to consult/advisethe business on marketing strategy and campaign development as applicable
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings ofclients supported by the Marketing Review Controls team informing them ofpolicy and regulatory changes as appropriate
  • Assist with the review of content posted on the inter/intranetsites and work with the business to help ensure content is accurate andrelevant
  • Attend meetings with the Business, Controls,Legal, Media Relations, Tax Department, Government Relations and otherstakeholders as needed
  • Create job aids and other training relateddocuments in support of business needs
  • Identify and improve practices in support ofefficiency of the overall communications review process
  • Attend local WM SM and global SM calls as needed to helpensure understanding of pertinent changes to policy and the exchange of bestpractices
  • Attend live client calls and videotapingsessions to help ensure compliance with rules, regulations and polices
  • Work with Technology partners and MRC team to helpidentify, communicate and implement enhancements to the automated marketingreview application
  • Help Mitigate regulatory risk
  • Develop/maintain effective working relationshipswith areas across the Supervisory organization
  • Solicit feedback from clients and peers in aneffort to improve overall Communications Review function
  • Provide support on regulatory examinations andinquiries
  • Undertake special supervisory-related projectsas needed to assist in further strengthening the Capital Markets Solutions team
  • Work with multiple lines of business and regions

Qualifications
  • Seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 yearsconsumer regulatory compliance, supervision, controls, risk or audit experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Background in Marketing and Social Media review
  • Financial services experience including aworking knowledge of marketing and advertising practices and related operations
  • Excellent decision maker with ability to managemultiple tasks
  • Ability to work in close partnership withcolleagues in Compliance, Legal, Risk, Controls and the business as a teamplayer
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication andresource management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint andExcel
  • Bachelor's degree in a business relateddiscipline
  • Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses required; Series9/10 is a plus
