The Position:
The Wealth Management Decision Sciences Managing Director supporting ChaseWealth Management, YouInvest, and the US and International Private Bank is acritical leadership position, responsible for leveraging analytics, MachineLearning and Artificial Intelligence to enable and support our strategicbusiness priorities. The MD of WealthManagement is a new position which will be responsible for partnering withsenior leaders to build and execute our analytic strategy while building andleading a high performing team. Thisposition will report to the Head of Consumer Bank & Wealth ManagementDecision Sciences.


Business outcomes
  • Understands the Wealth Management business and itsstrategic priorities comprehensively (Marketing, Sales, Digital, Servicing,etc.) - across both the wealth spectrum (Mass Affluent through Ultra High NetWorth) and all product lines (e.g., Deposit, Investment, Mortgage)
  • Experience leading teams focused on Marketing,Digital, Sales and Modeling
  • Demonstrated ability building analytic strategiesand executing large analytic initiatives that drive material business impactsand supports business priorities. Activelyidentifies ways to support these priorities through Data & Analytics,including:
    • Conductingstrategic, deep-dive analyses where appropriate
    • Identifying,buying, testing and deploying new data types that can drive insight (from otherLOBs as well as vendors)
    • Partneringwith the Modeling teams to build predictive / Machine Learning models
    • Buildingtools or capabilities to support Sales teams and functions
    • Buildingor partnering to build new customer-facing products
    • Overseesthe translation of Wealth Management's analytics priorities into a unified DataStrategy and funded Roadmap

Risk / Controls
  • Owns and manages all Risks & compensatingControls related to:
    • DataQuality for data originated in their LOB
    • DataAccess for their team
    • All Datatransformations performed by their team
    • DataQuality for all data/insights provided by their team
    • Actively supports CCB-wide initiatives to reduceData & Analytics risk (e.g., model governance, SAS uplift) Head of Digital Platforms &Marketing Innovation

  • MBA, or MS in STEM field with significant Executive experience
  • 15 years' experience in Management Consulting and/or as a Data/Analytics Executive
  • Experience in Financial Services, and specifically in investment and wealth management sector
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, ClickFox) and proven ability to deliver innovation
  • Process- and controls-oriented leader, maintains a strong system of internal governance and controls
  • Superb leadership skills at managing large teams; outstanding and engaging people leader who has demonstrated the ability to lead, coach and develop employees within a large organization
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and business outcomes
  • Excellent ability to influence and partner across a large organization and drive change; low ego
  • Strong presence and speaking skills, with the ability to influence and motivate senior executives
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business control understanding and experience
  • Experience with a Fortune 500 company and highly recognized customer centric brand strongly preferred
  • Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and regulatory environment
