PositionSummary/Purpose of Role:
BusinessBanking (BB) supports 2.4 million clients across the U.S. including 200,000 clients that are aligned with one of our dedicated Business RelationshipManagers. Business Banking serves theRetail banking clients with revenues up to $20 million. Business Banking partners with other JPMorganChase line of businesses to provide our customers with a wide suite of productssuch as Merchant Card processing (Commerce Solutions), Cash Management(Treasury), Credit Originations and Digital.
The BusinessBanking Product Development team is seeking a Vice President of ProductDevelopment to join the organization to support transformation across ourdeposits, savings, and merchant services product lines.
The rolewill lead strategic planning and tactical execution for initiatives that drivedeposit growth and improve client servicing experiences.
This is adynamic opportunity to drive initiatives across complex solution sets andplatforms in support of JPMorgan Chase's mission to be the easiest bank for businessesto do business with.
PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities:
Partneracross cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Legal,etc.) to assess our product offerings and advise on product gaps / areas ofimprovement
Developproduct strategies, drive consensus, and create a short and long-term productdevelopment roadmap
Tacticallyexecute on plans to enable new product introductions, feature and pricingenhancements, and portfolio conversions
Lead theProgram Management Office to ensure projects are delivered on time and onbudget
Prepareexecutive level presentations, communications, and reporting to provide updateson project status
Guideproduct and feature enhancements through the necessary governance and compliancefunctions to gain approval to move towards the general availability release
Coach anddevelopment junior members on the team
7 years ofexperience in any combination of management consulting, corporate strategy, orproduct development roles in financial services
Bachelor'sdegree and MBA Preferred
Must have aproven track record in strategic problem solving and driving operationalexecution
Ability toprioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strongrelationships with business partners
Exceptionalcommunications and presentation skills across multiple audiences includingsenior management
Strongfinancial and business acumen with an orientation to the end-game tied togranular ownership of the details to enable execution
Anintellectual curiosity surrounding new technologies and the competitiveenvironment
Scrappy,versatile personality type with a drive for success and a willingness to pitchin wherever necessary to get the job done
