About this role
BlackRock’s Talent Management team is responsible for ensuring BlackRock’s talent delivers on our business and organizational strategy and that in doing so we create employee experiences where people can deliver extraordinary performance and impact.
The team designs the firm’s talent strategy and culture initiatives, manages talent processes such as performance management and promotions processes, designs and delivers learning & development programs, and brings to bear HR data to inform decisions across HR.
The candidate will work across all areas of Talent Management to align, streamline, simplify, data enable and make more human our processes, products, engagement and communication. This includes managing the portfolio of projects, identifying and driving operational excellence, designing and managing stakeholder engagement, change management and communication plans and leading selected projects.
Identify and drive opportunities for alignment, simplification and data-enablement across the talent ecosystem
-Lead portfolio management across the most critical talent management initiatives
-Identify opportunities for short-term optimization and longer-term transformation
-Partner with function owners to manage programs within expectations
Develop and manage a communication and change strategy that delivers our talent management outcomes; to HR colleagues, employees, managers and senior leadership
-Consistently package the talent management processes, assets and communications
-Design and manage stakeholder engagement, change management and communication plans
-Create compelling business cases, materials and experiences to create a platform for change
-Anticipate how to balance and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Drive operational excellence of the talent management team and impact
-Run the talent management engine - proactive project management to deliver solutions as expected
-Prioritize initiatives and forecast / plan for capacity
-Drive process engineering and continuous improvement
-Help manage the overall effectiveness of the function
Own and drive selected talent management projects; shape and implement programs that drive our talent management outcomes
Bring to bear industry best practices, research on talent and general HR practices to improve our work
