As we grow our Leadership and Development (L&D) team, we are seeking a Sr. Learning & Development Consultant to help us shape the future of our organization. This position will require experience and skills identifying and directing innovative learning and development solutions and interventions. The primary focus of this high exposure opportunity will be to collaborate with organizational leadership to execute on learning and development strategies related to leadership development, talent development, career planning and individual development planning.


The successful candidate will have experience consulting with HR Business Partners and business line leadership on complex issues to strengthen workforce capabilities for a high performing organization. This includes researching industry best practices and trends to recommend effective learning and development solutions. The Sr. Learning & Development Specialist will also provide guidance and instruction to less experienced associates.

  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners, organizational leaders and employees on employee development strategies and the creation of effective career and individual development plans
  • Develops, administers and analyzes results on a variety of assessment tools to assess individual and organizational learning and development needs and develops recommendations to support the organizations people strategy
  • Designs and delivers trainings and identifies externally suitable workshops in support of professional development programs for employees to develop identified competencies and skills
  • Guides learning and development staff and shares expertise in the development and use of e-learning methodologies for course design; works with subject matter experts to support appropriate online teaching mechanisms
  • Evaluates learning and development programs and workshops to judge effectiveness and implement identified improvements
  • Interacts, evaluates and oversees external training consultants to identify and deliver learning content that supports the organization's learning and development needs
  • Provides development coaching to people-leaders and employees, as well as to entry level learning and development staff

  • Bachelors degree is required
  • Masters degree in Business, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with 1-3 years of experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements


  • Deep knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory and principles of organizational development
  • Knowledge of complex instructional design principles
  • Knowledge of strategy formulation that will move the organization towards its strategic goals
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Effective consulting and facilitation skills
  • Skilled coach and mentor to various level employees, including managers and executives
  • Project planning and program management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to design, implement and manage leadership development workshops

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and demonstrate effective organizational skills


Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility/additional hours may be required and up to 5% travel required

  • This position will be located in the Dallas office
  • Position may be filled at various levels depending upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant
